Revlon Professional Brands hosted its inaugural Salon Masters Show at Muzik Nightclub in Toronto on Sunday March 29th, 2015.
Hosted by ET Canada’s Rick Campanelli, over 600 corporate VIPs, clients, partners and media guests were treated to an evening celebrating the artistry and creativity of the Revlon Professional Brands team of stylists and the versatility of its products. While also showcasing the pinnacle of the evening, where guests would witness who will be crowned the Style Masters and American Crew All Star Challenge Canadian winners in recognition of their exceptional talent in both women’s and men’s hairdressing, respectively.
Maurice Fiorio, Revlon Professional Brands Canadian Spokesperson and FIORIO CEO kicked off the show, presenting models sporting hair inspired by the sultry and sophisticated style of Ibiza, the influence behind the new Bellisima collection from Revlon Professional. This runway presentation featured several Bellisima collection looks, where Maurice was a featured Guest Artist, alongside Miguel Garcia, Revlon Professional Global Creative Director and team.
At the center of the show was the exciting conclusion to the Canadian Style Masters contest. After a presentation of Style Masters avant-garde looks created by Revlon Professional team members Tim Kuo, Loretta Tom, Jean Sebastien Chalut, Vicky Filiatrault and Kirsten McCintosh, it was time to find out who was the winner between the top three finalists, Adrian Carew, Stéphane Scotto di Cesare and Emmanuelle Gagnon Vachon. In the end, Miguel Garcia revealed Adrian Carew of Hair 91 Salon in Toronto as the Canadian winner. Along with this honour, Adrian was also chosen as a finalist for the global Style Masters competition on April 20th which the audience learned would be taking place in Rome, Italy this year in front of over 3,500 special guests.
Professional rugby players and top male models then stomped the runway with a collection of looks celebrating the 20th anniversary of American Crew. Once the audience calmed down, American Crew founder David Raccuglia addressed the crowd and presented the Canadian winner of the American Crew All Star Challenge, David Andreas Kykiris of Olab Coiffeurs in Montreal. David will also be going to compete in the global finale for the American Crew All Star Challenge in Rome. Congratulations to runner up stylists Yanick Chartrand-Kravitz of Olab Coiffeurs and Hassan Nasser of Avalon Salon and Spa.
The evening was capped off with a presentation of gorgeous colour shown on models created by Revlon Professional Brands’ Quebec team under the leadership of Quebec Education Manager Manon Carpentier. The colour segment featured a sneak peak of the upcoming launch May 1st 2015, of Revlon Professional’s Revlonissimo Colorsmetique high-performance color. This new colour line is the result of the combination of Revlon Professional’s color expertise and the most advanced cosmetic ingredients for hair and features images and video of Olivia Wilde as its Brand Ambassador.
The runway presentations were made even more glamorous with the incredible nails created by Jennifer Mather, Liliya Leheta and John Nguyen of the Canadian CND education team.
As the confetti canons marked the close of the first-ever Salon Masters Show and start of the Roman style after party, they also celebrated a new phase of growth for Revlon Professional Brands who’s world renowned brands and breath of revolutionary innovation is sure to continue to turn heads.
